Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Indomaret Sidoarjo and LavAni Navy men’s teams are just one step away from the grand final of Livoli Premier Division 2024. This is after both teams defeated their opponents in the second round of the final four.
Indomaret defeated defending champion Rajawali Pasundan with a score of 3-1 (23-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-17) at GOR Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gresik, Monday (18/21/2024) evening. This victory solidifies the position of Alfin Daniel and his friends at the top of the final four standings with 10 points from four matches.
Meanwhile, Rajawali Pasundan remains in third place. Jasen Natanael and colleagues collected 5 points from two wins and two losses.
Indomaret only needs one win from the remaining two matches to secure a ticket to the grand final. “As I said from the start, if the serve hits the road, receives well and blocks tightly, we can control the match,” said Indomaret coach Iwan Dedi Setiawan.

Rajawali Pasundan coach Agus Jumaedi admitted that his team did not play well because some of the players were not fit and were still tired. “I tried playing almost all the players earlier, but I couldn’t find a playing pattern. What’s clear is that they played badly today,” said Boy, Agus’s nickname.
He also said that Farhan Halim’s condition had not fully recovered from his shoulder injury so it was too risky for him to play fully. “Hopefully tomorrow the children’s condition will be better and they can achieve their target of entering the grand final,” said Boy.
