[4-3-2-1]: Altay Bayındır start, all new signings debut and formation changed- Manchester United predicted lineups vs Leicester City as Ruben Amorim confirms the changing of formation after Sur alex Ferguson’s advise

Manchester United will do battle with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester City on Friday night with ambitions of securing a fifth-round spot in the FA Cup.

There is plenty of excitement around the latest edition of Manchester United against Leicester City.

The excitement stems from a hope that Ruben Amorim will hand out United debuts, with academy prospects and new signings knocking on the door.

Dante Plunkett was in United first-team training this week which could suggest he is in line for involvement of some sort.

But with the Premier League campaign all but over, cup competitions are United’s only chance of success – which should mean Amorim names a strong line-up.

Ruben Amorim to name rotated XI for FA Cup fourth round

Manchester United knocked Arsenal out in the last round, and this tie represents a far more favourable opposition and it’s at Old Trafford.

The Foxes are coming off a 4-0 smashing by Everton and Amorim will look at this as a very winnable tie to try to re-start some momentum.

For the game, United have three players on the cusp of suspension, and we predict that two will be starting the game.

Here is how we anticipate Amorim’s line-up looking against Leicester City.

Altay Bayindir

In goal, we are all fairly aware of how things work now with Altay Bayindir the designated cup goalkeeper. Bayindir has impressed with his chances this season and we’ve full faith he can get United through here.

Noussair Mazraoui

As far as signings go, £12.8m for Noussair Mazraoui is as good a deal as clubs could find. Mazraoui has established himself to be a solid option in defence and with certain additions he likely rotates into the back three here.

Matthijs de Ligt

In the middle of the three, Matthijs de Ligt didn’t start against Palace last weekend and so we imagine he will play this one and has the job of helping a debutant.

Ayden Heaven

On the left, Lisandro Martinez has torn his cruciate ligaments and so we think it will be new singing Ayden Heaven who starts, making his debut.

Diogo Dalot

On the right side, we predict that Diogo Dalot will step back into his more natural role, which should see his performances improve.

Toby Collyer

Moving into the midfield positions, Toby Collyer should start this one after starting on the bench last weekend.

Bruno Fernandes

Partnering with Collyer, we expect to see Bruno Fernandes as he has been better in this position recently rather than further forward.

Patrick Dorgu

At left wing-back, Patrick Dorgu surely starts. Finally United have the perfect option to fulfil Amorim’s needs, this would also be the second debutant of the line-up.

Kobbie Mainoo

Amorim could be brave here and start an academy player such as Jack Moorhouse, but with progression a necessity, we’d put Kobbie Mainoo here, resting Amad Diallo. Don’t be surprised to see an academy cameo.

Alejandro Garnacho

Alongside Mainoo, we’d start Alejandro Garnacho as his importance continues to grow. United will hope he can play as well as he did last time the two teams met.

Rasmus Hojlund

The striker position has turned into the biggest issue United have, but Rasmus Hojlund will have the rest of this season to save his career at the club. Perhaps a Chido Obi debut could also occur as a cameo.
