The “Hellenic” international championship concludes today with the finals in the boys’ and girls’ categories Bank Masters Tennis Academy U16″, category 3.
The finals of the Tennis Europe event will have a strong Cypriot “colour”, since Sergios Kyzas and Eleni Loukas both qualified for the finals which will start at 10:00 in the morning.

After an exciting final, the athletes from Ukraine emerged as winners with 2-1 (3-6, 6-2, 10-7). In the “Hellenic Bank Masters Tennis Academy U16” international championship, a total of 90 opponents participate.
Also, the “ITF Cyprus Seniors Cup G2” international championship organized by the Cyprus Antiball Federation ends this afternoon. 157 opponents take part in the championship, and the entries from abroad exceeded 100. Competitions are held in 38 categories, from the ages of 35+ to 70+, in men’s and women’s singles and doubles as well as mixed.
A total of 204 matches will be played in the championship. From the Cypriot side, the participations of players who made history in Cypriot tennis stand out, such as Papamichael, Amyrotou, Petros, Charalambous, Ioannidis and several others. Among the foreign entries, the top one is that of the German Austin Michael who is No. 30 in the world ranking in his category.
Today 17 finals will be held starting at 10:00. The last final will be that of the men’s 35+ category, which will start at 16:00. After the end of the championship, a reception will follow at the group’s facilities.
