The local derby of Catalonia for the Segunda RFEF category of Spanish football, between Europe and the Saint Andrew was interrupted shortly after the start of the second part.
After the visitors’ goal, which made it 3-5 in the 50th minute of the match, the guardrail collapsed in the stands where St. Andrew’s fans were celebrating.
The fans in the front rows fell onto the pitch, with the footballers rushing to help. Fortunately there were only minor injurieshowever the match was stopped for safety reasons.
