Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Jonatan Christie admitted that he was still adjusting to the field conditions at the Shenzhen Gymnasium. This was said by the Indonesian men’s singles after competing in the round of 32 of the China Masters 2024, Tuesday (19/!!).
“I’m still adapting to the conditions here. The adaptation is not yet optimal,” said the badminton player who is familiarly called Jojo.
“Today we still had difficulty controlling the shuttlecock and the atmosphere on the court. Several times we were still looking for the feeling.”
Even so, Jonatan Christie was still able to win the match against Loh Kean Yew. He won the rubber game over the Singapore representative with a score of 21-17, 19-21 and 21-11.
“Praise God today is OK and won, hopefully Thursday will be better,” said Jonathan.
“In the third game, I just thought about how the incident at the Kumamoto Masters last week would not be repeated. So I focused as much as possible point by point. When you were ahead, keep pressing, don’t lower the tempo,” he concluded.
