Similar to Football but Different, Socca Sport is Officially Present in Indonesia

Liputan6.com, Jakarta- The Indonesian Socca Federation (FSI) was officially established in Indonesia. Socca itself is similar to soccer but has several differences. Socca is football with a format of 5, 6, 7, or 8 players.

FSI is a member of the International Socca Federation (ISF). Socca is known as a grassroots sport that can be played by all groups. The reason is that Socca is not as tiring as soccer.

ISF itself is supported by world football players. Big names such as Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Ryan Giggs, Michael Owen, Robert Pires, John Terry and Thomas Muller are part of the ISF brand ambassadors.

The Indonesian Socca Federation (FSI) has received approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on August 7 2024 with approval number AHU-0007668.AH.01.07.TAHUN 2024. FSI is currently being coached by Mr. Thareq Kemal Habibie, he is the second son of the 3rd President of Indonesia, Mr. BJ Habibie.

The Indonesian Socca Federation has plans to hold competitions in each region with a special format. This will be adjusted for junior and senior age groups which will lead to the formation of the National Socca Team which will compete in the Socca World Cup.
