The Lakers’ victory could not be separated from a brilliant start. In the first quarter, the Lakers had raced to a 34-22 lead. The Lakers continued to maintain a double-digit lead until the second quarter.
The Lakers became more confident in the third quarter. The margin of excellence continues to expand. The Lakers even had a lead of up to 25 points at the start of the fourth quarter.
The Jazz were able to close the distance at the end of the fourth quarter. However, because the lead was too far, the Jazz couldn’t get back in front. They could only cut the gap to six points.
Knecht is a nightmare for the Jazz. This debutant scored 37 points which was his best achievement in the NBA. Knecht made nine three-point shots.
