The “Bank of Cyprus Pancyprian Junior Tournament”, which was held from 3 to 18 May, was concluded with great success at the Sports Center “The Sporting Club” of Bank of Cyprus. The championship is included in the official calendar of the Cyprus Antiball Federation and is category “3”.
With the holding of the championship, the cooperation of OAK with the Bank of Cyprus, as a Youth Supporter of the Federation for the years 2016-2017, was thus sealed, supporting children and tomorrow’s tennis champions.
Meetings were held in 13 categories, which included the U12, U14, U16 and U18 age groups. The matches were held daily on the pitches of “The Sporting Club” which have a synthetic turf surface.
Indicative of the large participation is the fact that in all categories in Monas, the draw included a table of either “16” or “32” athletes. The total number of matches held within the championship reached 152.
