Personal terms agreed: Man United agrees Personal terms to sign a talented superstar as The Reds set to offload over 10 players at once

Manchester United will surely have to work in the transfer market to bring in players who suit Ruben Amorim’s system. They are currently without a sporting director after Dan Ashworth was let go following a fall out.

Amorim has brought the 3-4-3 formation with him from Sporting CP and Man Utd players are still adjusting to what it demands.

It is structurally very different to how Erik ten Hag used to play with his team in his two-odd years at the club.

For instance, having played so many years with a two-center-back formation, Man Utd had enough squad depth to handle that formation in that position. However, now that the Red Devils play with three at the back, they need to sign quality reinforcements.

Now, as per Fichajes, Man Utd are preparing a lowball offer of around £33m to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.

With his contract expiring in 2026, the Red Devils view this as a great market opportunity to sign a genuine superstar in the making for a bargain price.

Guehi was a standout star in the Euros back in the summer and ever since, his stocks have been skyrocketing. Appointed Crystal Palace captain, the Englishman has led from the front despite the team struggling.

If not for his contract, the Englishman is valued at around £80million. That price tag is a better reflection of the player that he has become and if Man Utd manage to sign him for anything lesser, it would be a no-brainer.

It remains to be seen if Man Utd make a concrete move to sign Marc Guehi. Only time will tell if the transfer goes through but this is a potential coup for the club and let’s hope they can get it done sooner rather than later.
