TERMS AGREED: Erik ten Hag’s summer signing NOT happy with Ruben Amorim’s football pattern, agrees to leave Manchester United

Man Utd are having a torrid time in recent weeks under Ruben Amorim.

The Manchester derby was expected to be a turning point for the club but much like it has proved to be over the past decade, it was just another false start.

It begs the question as to whether Man Utd have anything they can salvage from this season.

They sit precariously in the 14th place in the Premier League table as things stand in what has truly been a catastrophical first half to the campaign.

With the January transfer window now open, this does give Ruben Amorim the opportunity to look at players he could bring in for his project but it has to be said that it is unlikely to happen without major sales happening.

Thus, it does tie in quite conveniently, as per UOL, that Man Utd star Casemiro is now prepared to secure his exit from Old Trafford with Saudi clubs interested in his signature. The Brazilian is no longer a guaranteed starter here with Manuel Ugarte taking his place.

The ex-Real Madrid superstar is now willing to leave the club and considering that he is on astronomical £375,000 a week wages, this should go a long way in helping United comply with FFP and hopefully give them the room to make signings.

Make no mistake – Man Utd had a blockbuster summer in terms of investments. They brought in Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee, Manuel Ugarte and Leny Yoro in what was a significant summer for the club.

However, with the exception of De Ligt and Mazraoui, who have settled in very well, the other three have had their own issues.

Ugarte has been hit or miss, although recent weeks have been promising while Yoro has struggled with fitness concerns. The lesser said about Zirkzee’s time at Old Trafford, the better!

Thus, moving on Casemiro and making reinforcements in positions of need would make a lot of sense for Man Utd. Let’s wait and see how things pan out going forward.
