How Manchester United Have Lined-up Recently

André Onana is United’s starting goalkeeper in the league, whereas Altay Bayindir gets the nod in the cups.

Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot are Ruben Amorim’s preferred wing-backs, with new signing Patrick Dorgu also in contention for a place.

At centre back, three of Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Lény Yoro and Lisandro Martinez have started of late, whilst Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes have been the two central midfielders of choice.

In attacking midfield, Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho have competed for two sports, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee in contention for the number 9 role.

Manchester United Recent Form and Tactics
Despite their lowly Premier League position of 13, the Red Devils are on a run of six wins in eight games in all competitions, albeit unconvincing in their style of play and manner but enough to see shoots of promise in Amorim’s new regime. Goals continue to be a problem, with strikers Hojlund and Zirkzee notably struggling for form.
