The two key attacking stars have been out of action with hamstring injuries, coming as a huge blow to Mikel Arteta and his side.

Mikel Arteta gives update on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli injuries
Bukayo Saka’s hamstring injury has seen him out since December, with surgery required to help the recovery process for the Arsenal star.
As for Gabriel Martinelli’s injury, his own hamstring tear was slightly less severe in early February, with a timeline of around a month set on his absence.
With some important games coming up, Mikel Arteta was asked for an update on the pair heading into Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.
The Arsenal boss told the press: “Bukayo [Saka] and Gabby [Gabriel Martinelli] are progressing well but a bit far to come back [to the team].”
It certainly suggests the pair are stepping up well in their recovery, though it remains to be seen when they might be back in action.
When are Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli back from injury?
As it stands, there’s no guaranteed date on when Saka and Martinelli will return to the first-team to make an impact again.
Saka returned to training in mid-February as he started to step up his recovery, though it appeared to be mostly light gym work, so it is unclear when he could be back with a ball at his feet.
There is no sign of Martinelli yet in training, though his initial time frame of one month out is approaching in the next week or so.
Two key Champions League fixtures await against PSV Eindhoven in the round of 16, which the Gunners may be able to sneak through without their first-choice stars.
A potential clash with Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in the quarter-final in early April will be a point at which the Gunners will be hopeful of having the pair back fit again.
