“He played exactly like Haaland and I don’t think I can compete with such striker”: Manchester United’s striker Rasmus Hojlund has decided to leave the club after United agreed personal terms to sign an aggressive striker

Manchester United are poised to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window, according to Turkish journalist Aygun Ozipek.
The Red Devils have disappointed as an attacking force in the Premier League. The club have netted only 38 goals from 32 matches this term.
United need an upgrade on Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, and Ozipek claims that the club have an agreement to land Osimhen.
The journalist adds that the Nigeria international will pen a five-year contract with the Red Devils worth £12.8 million per year.
Ruben Amorim’s side will pay a fee of £51.4m to purchase the striker from Napoli after his season-long loan deal at Galatasaray.
Osimhen would be a huge statement signing for United
Hojlund and Zirkzee have netted just six league goals this campaign. A player of Osimhen’s calibre would turn the club’s fortunes around.
The 26-year-old star has accumulated 29 goals and six assists from 34 appearances for Galatasaray since joining them on loan last summer.
He will face a sterner challenge in the English top flight, but we believe he can score at least 20 goals per campaign.
Osimhen is more of a traditional number nine. He is strong in contesting duels and has excelled with his positioning in the opposition box.
This is something that United have lacked with Hojlund and Zirkzee this campaign. Osimhen would be a huge statement signing this summer.
It remains to be seen whether there is any truth to the update from Ozipek.
If Osimhen arrives at Old Trafford, it could pave the way for the departure of Rasmus Hojlund, who is on the radar of Juventus and Napoli.
Napoli and United could negotiate a separate deal for Hojlund. This would help the Red Devils in terms of the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
