Nations League: Ronaldo scored again in Portugal’s victory, 3-1 victory over Poland.

Barcelona : Cristiano Ronaldo scored his record 133rd international goal as Portugal beat Poland 3-1 in the Nations League football tournament, while Spain beat Denmark 1-0 in the other match. Ronaldo scored on a rebound in the 37th minute after Rafael Leao’s shot hit the post.

Earlier, Bernardo Silva had scored the first goal for Portugal in the 26th minute. Ronaldo could not score a single goal in five matches for Portugal in the European Championship earlier this year, but he was successful in scoring in all the three matches he has played so far in the Nations League. These also include the goal scored against Croatia which was the 900th goal of his career.

Poland’s only goal was scored by midfielder Piotr Zielinski in the 78th minute but defender Jan Bednarek scored an own goal two minutes before the end of the game to ensure Portugal’s big win. Portugal top Group A1 with 9 points from three matches. Croatia has six points and is in second place. They defeated Scotland 2–1 in the match played in Zagreb.

In another Nations League match, Spain defeated Denmark 1-0 with the help of a goal scored in the 79th minute by Martin Zubimendi. With this win, defending champions Spain have seven points in Group A4 after three matches. Denmark is in second place with six points. Serbia has four points. In another match, it defeated Switzerland 2–0. In League C, Kosova beat Lithuania 2–1, while Romania beat Cyprus 3–0.
