“Yes, I will join”: Striker snubs Chelsea and Manchester United’s transfer, agrees to join Arsenal on Six-years deal

Arsenal are definitely on the market for a new striker this summer.

The Gunners have missed out on the Premier League title for the third season in a row, and many believe that the lack of a prolific goalscorer is the reason why.

Mikel Arteta needs attacking reinforcements this summer, and although Arsenal are targeting a winger like Rodrygo, a new number nine is the priority.

One striker is now said to be keen on a move to Arsenal.

Dusan Vlahovic wants to join Arsenal

Arsenal fans know all about Dusan Vlahovic.

The Juventus striker, hailed as ‘extraordinary’ by Dragan Stojkovic (FIFA), has been linked with a move to the Emirates on plenty of occasions in the past.

Back in January 2022, after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was pushed out of the side, the North Londoners tried to sign the Serbia international.

Vlahovic rejected Arsenal and joined Juventus in that window, but the 25-year-old is now ready to don the famous red and white.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who claim that Vlahovic ‘would immediately pack his bags to move to North London and make himself available to Mikel Arteta’ if presented with that opportunity again.

Juventus are ready to sell the Serbian as he will enter the final year of his contract, and the Gunners, or any other interested club, could land him for a bargain fee.

The outlet claims that Juve want at least £42 million, but reports elsewhere have claimed that Vlahovic could be available for as low as £20 million due to his contract situation.

Should Arsenal sign Dusan Vlahovic?

When he was at Fiorentina, Vlahovic was regarded as one of the best young strikers in Europe.

The Serb was absolutely incredible for La Viola during his time there, but his career at Juventus hasn’t quite gone to plan.

Arsenal now need a striker who will come in and hit the ground running, and Vlahovic, who has scored just one league goal more than Kai Havertz this season, is not the answer.

To add to that, it makes little sense for Arteta to go after a player who once rejected a move to the Emirates when Arsenal needed him.

We think someone like Viktor Gyokeres would be far better for Arsenal this summer.
