DEAL HIJACKED: Arsenal hijacked Chelsea’s transfer deal as superstar cuts contact with the blues after saying YES to Arsenal move

Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta has held talks with AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta is looking to reinforce Arsenal’s attacking options in the summer transfer window and is targeting a wide attacking player as well as a striker.
According to Foot Mercato, Arsenal have Leao on their shortlist for the summer but the Portugal international is not one of Arteta’s top targets.
Nevertheless, the report claims that Berta has been in touch with the 25-year-old earlier this month to discuss a possible move to Arsenal this summer.
Chelsea have also expressed an interest in signing Leao ahead of the summer window as they are also in the market for an attacker who is capable of playing in the wide areas.
AC Milan, meanwhile, are open to selling Leao and were demanding an €80m (£67m) fee ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to reports in Italy.
Milan could also be under pressure to sell at least one key player this summer due to their anticipated drop in revenue from missing out on a place in next season’s Champions League.
Sergio Conceicao’s side finished their Serie A season with a 2-0 win at home to relegated Monza on Saturday night but will drop to eighth in the table if Fiorentina win away to Udinese in their final game on Sunday.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have held initial talks to sign Rodrygo, with Real demanding €80m (£67.5m) for the winger.
However, it’s understood that the Brazil international’s wage demands could price Arsenal out of a move.
