DONE DEAL: Arsenal signs £102-rated South American tricky attacker, set to announce the deal soon as players bids farewell to Old club

Arsenal have reportedly ramped up their pursuit of £60m-rated Benjamin Sesko as RB Leipzig get ready to talk business.

According to The Mirror, Leipzig are open to negotiating terms, provided the right valuation is met. Sesko is being valued at around £60 million ($81m), and the Gunners are willing to match the demands of the Bundesliga outfit.

The Gunners were firmly in the race to sign Sesko in the 2024 summer transfer window but were ultimately unable to convince the player to leave Germany at the time. Sesko opted to continue his development with Leipzig, a move that proved fruitful as he delivered a standout campaign with 21 goals and six assists.

Now, with Leipzig failing to qualify for Europe, the scenario has shifted dramatically. Arsenal have reignited negotiations, and sources suggest these talks have progressed further than before, indicating the Emirates outfit could be preparing a formal offer.

While Sesko is clearly a priority, Arsenal have also kept tabs on other attacking options. Viktor Gyokeres is believed to favour a move to north London over other Premier League or European destinations, increasing the likelihood that Arsenal could pivot toward him if the Sesko deal stalls.

Alexander Isak of Newcastle has also been monitored, but any approach for the Swedish forward seems unlikely to bear fruit as the Magpies have made it clear that they have no intention of parting ways with their talisman, especially to a domestic rival.

With Champions League football secured for another season, Arsenal are intent on using the transfer window to turn promise into tangible progress.
