TERMS AGREED: Manchester United agree terms to sign a striker who was closed to join Arsenal last week- The player will be the most expensive signing in football history

Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in signing Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres in the summer transfer window, but Fabrizio Romano has confirmed in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter that it remains an ‘open race’ for his signature.

Gyokeres has enjoyed an impressive season at Sporting, contributing significantly both domestically and in the Champions League. His displays have attracted the interest of clubs around Europe, and there’s a chance we could see him ply his trade in the Premier League next season.
