Agreement reached: Arsenal finally reach an agreement to sign a dream winger who play exactly like Lamine

Arsenal could pursue a new central defender during the summer transfer window.

The Gunners were keen on signing Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth recently, but the Spain international opted to join Real Madrid instead.

Manager Mikel Arteta and sporting Andrea Berta provided assurances of regular playing time to Huijsen, but the 20-year-old was not convinced.

Arsenal are exploring an alternative, and La Roma claim that they have ‘started to enquire’ about the availability of Roma star Evan Ndicka.

Initial contact has been established, and his representative has apparently leaked information that Roma are prepared to listen to offers.

The Giallorossi value the former Eintracht Frankfurt defender at more than €40 million and are expected to stand firm on their valuation.

Ndicka would be a good acquisition for Arsenal

The Gunners were definitely interested in landing Huijsen, but he preferred to move to the Bernabeu.

The club are now eyeing another solution. A left-footed centre-back appears the priority, given the reported interest in signing Ndicka.

Ndicka would be a good acquisition for Arsenal. He had a passing accuracy of 92 percent in Serie A last term and won 55 percent of his duels.

The Ivorian made 3.5 recoveries and 3.8 clearances on average. He contributed towards the Giallorossi keeping 16 clean sheets from 38 games.

Arsenal were previously linked with Ndicka during his time at Frankfurt, but the centre-back ultimately joined Roma on a free transfer in June 2023.

The Serie A giants will secure pure profit from his sale this summer. We won’t be surprised if Arsenal push to land his services ahead of the competition.

If Arsenal were to sign Ndicka, questions could be raised about the future of Jakub Kiwior.

The Poland international was brilliant alongside William Saliba at the back end of last season after Gabriel Magalhaes was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

He could push for an exit as a new centre-back could reduce his playing time as a deputy.
