Manchester United could look to complete a huge deal for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Warren Zaire-Emery in the coming transfer window, according to reports – with the Red Devils having opened ‘explanatory talks’ to see if they can complete a deal for the young France international.

The report by TEAMtalk states that United are exploring a move for Zaire-Emery to bolster their midfield this summer, though they do face serious obstacles when it comes to landing the PSG starlet in a ‘blockbuster’ move.
Christian Eriksen’s departure means that there is a void in the engine room at Old Trafford, with the Dane set to depart once his contract expires on Monday – and the futures of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo are not entirely certain, meaning there could be a revamp in the centre of the park.
United, as a result, have made ‘exploratory’ contacts to understand the conditions of a blockbuster deal for the youngster, who is considered one of the most exciting prospects in the league on his £185,000-per-week contract.
Champions League-winning boss Luis Enrique wants to keep Zaire-Emery in his ranks, and that means that the French champions have set a price tag of around £85million on their young talent, if United are to prise him off their hands.
PSG haven’t completely ruled out an exit for Zaire-Emery, dubbed a future Ballon d’Or winner by agent Jorge Mendes, but United would have to sell players first due to Profit and Sustainability Rules.
The Red Devils are focused on sealing a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, and have already secured a £62.5million deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha in what has been a frantic start to their transfer window.
