Medical Ongoing: £90million goalscoring winger is currently undergoing medical to join Manchester United after agreeing five-years transfer deal- Announcement will be made today

Manchester United could pursue another player from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport (page 15).

The Red Devils finished a disappointing 15th in the Premier League last term with only 42 points.

United have already backed the manager with the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and they need to add more quality to the ranks.

Talks are ongoing with Brentford for winger Bryan Mbeumo, but the club have yet to find a suitable agreement with the London side.

Amidst this, Corriere dello Sport claim that United alongside Liverpool are interested in signing Wolves midfielder Andre. He is valued at £30.4 million.

They could face competition from Juventus. The Bianconeri have him as an alternative if they can’t sign Sporting CP midfielder Morten Hjulmand.

Andre would be a quality signing for United
The 23-year-old signed for Wolves from Fluminense in a deal worth £21 million last summer, and had a brilliant campaign in the defensive midfield role.

Andre had a passing accuracy of 93 percent in the Premier League. He won 60 percent of his duels in the top flight with almost six recoveries and three tackles.

The Brazilian also completed 57 percent of his take-ons with a long ball accuracy of 74 percent. He lost possession on less than five occasions per outing.

His displays went under the radar due to the focus on Cunha.

Corriere dello Sport claim that he could be signed for £30.4m, but we doubt Wolves would accept such a figure, having parted ways with Cunha and Rayan Ait Nouri.

They could hold out for at least £40m. Still, Andre would be a top-notch signing for the Red Devils. He would provide a good upgrade with his fine ball control and work rate.

With Liverpool and Juventus also in the race, United need to utilise their good relations with Wolves to try and secure a quick agreement for the talented midfielder.
