Geneva: France beat Belgium 2-0 in the Nations League football tournament despite star forward Kylian Mbappe being rested. Mbappe’s two former Paris Saint-Germain teammates, Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembele, scored for France.

France had lost 3-1 to Italy in their previous match on Friday but kept their hopes of progressing in the tournament alive with a win against Belgium. Italy beat Israel 2-1 on Monday and topped the four-team group.

Meanwhile, with the help of Erling Holland’s decisive goal in the 80th minute, Norway won 2-1 over Austria. In another match, Slovenia star Benjamin Cesko scored a hat-trick in a 3–0 win over Kazakhstan.
