“Despite marking him with almost four players, he was still unstoppable…I haven’t seen such a dangerous attacker in my whole career”: West Ham United coach Nuno Espirito Santo names ONE Arsenal’s player who was unstoppable yesterday

Arsenal climbed to the top of the Premier League table after a 2-0 win over West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium yesterday.

The Gunners had a nervy start to the game as Niclas Fullkrug came close to scoring from a corner in the opening minute of the derby.

Barring this, they dominated proceedings and deservedly secured a 2-0 victory. Declan Rice opened the scoring before Bukayo Saka doubled the lead from the penalty spot.

Rice had a brilliant game against his former employers. Saka was equally good on the day, scoring a goal in his 200th league appearance.

Alongside the duo, we were particularly impressed with Jurrien Timber, who stood out with a superb all-round showing in the derby.

The 24-year-old completed 91 percent of his passes, while winning eight out of 12 duels contested.

The Dutchman also made six tackles alongside three recoveries and two interceptions.

Timber was signed to compete for places with Ben White at right-back, but he has firmly established himself as the first-choice.

Despite this, the £48 million-rated star has had a fantastic start to the new season with two goals and an assist in seven league matches.

Timber also won a crucial penalty for the second goal against the Hammers yesterday which prevented a potential nervy finish for Arsenal.

The versatile defender has quite clearly become an undroppable figure in the plans of manager Mikel Arteta in the Premier League.

Timber is above White in the pecking order for the right-back role, and may not be displaced anytime soon, given his fine run of form.
