“Although I’m Man legend but we still stand a chance to beat then unless Ruben start this guy who all my players here are scared to face”: Leicester City coach Ruud van Nistelrooy names ONE Man United’s player who his entire squad sees as a big threat

Manchester United will have a very familiar face on the touchline this Saturday looking to end the FA Cup defence.

Ruben Amorim will want to get back in the win column on Friday night when Manchester United face Leicester City.

In a sub-plot in the background of the match, Amorim will face off with a United legend in the form of Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Van Nistelrooy was the caretaker head coach for United until Amorim arrived permanently – and we are still yet to find a streak of form as good as Van Nistelrooy led United to.

Now, the Dutchman returns to Old Trafford with his new club and will be looking to give his fans something to celebrate amid a torrid season for the Foxes – but Amorim will be looking to do the same.

Ruud van Nistelrooy warns Ruben Amorim
Prior to his return to Old Trafford, Van Nistelrooy talked with the press and as expected he was questioned over his thoughts ver facing United.

Van Nistelrooy, in doing so, sent a warning to Amorim – who he will clash with on the touchline on Friday.

“I’m glad I don’t have to analyse the Manchester United squad, I’ll leave that to Rúben [Amorim]. We have prepared for them, and I know the squad inside out.”

Later in the press conference, Van Nistelrooy opened up on his excitement ahead of the clash.

“It’s special to go back to Old Trafford. I have a history as a player, as an assistant, and as a caretaker.

“My focus is on my players and my team, to get the best out of them and to show what we’re about, in the fight and in the spirit.”

This means the cup competitions are very important in terms of giving either fanbase something to shout about.

However, after Van Nistelrooy’s fighting words, warning Amorim that he knows the United squad, it is worth pointing out that since the legendary striker left United, much of the squad have evolved.

Not only this, but United play an entirely new system – which could see his complacency be part of Leicester’s downfall on Friday night.
