“Amad can literally do everything Saka does but here are the TWO things Amad does that even Salah has done before”: Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has finally settled the debate between Bukayo Saka and Amad Diallo, names TWO ways Amad is better

Roy Keane has heaped praise on one Manchester United star following Rúben Amorim’s win at the death against Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round.

Manchester United have booked their place in the FA Cup fifth round after Harry Maguire’s late winner secured Rúben Amorim’s side a dramatic victory over Leicester City on Friday evening.

Ruud van Nistelrooy set his Leicester team up to withstand United’s early pressure, and they held firm for the opening half-hour. Despite United gradually growing into the game, it was the visitors who struck first, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid converting just before half-time. Amorim’s side, meanwhile, failed to register a shot on target in the first 45 minutes.

A double change at the break saw Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee introduced, and the former nearly made an instant impact, seeing his effort cleared off the line—an effort that ignited the Old Trafford crowd. United’s growing pressure eventually paid off when a deflected Rasmus Højlund strike fell kindly for Zirkzee, who slotted home the equaliser.

As the game entered injury time, United’s relentless push for a winner was rewarded in stunning fashion. Bruno Fernandes delivered a pinpoint free kick into the box, and Maguire rose highest to steer a superb header past the goalkeeper, sealing an unforgettable late triumph.

Wright shocked at one Amorim decision
Garnacho was the difference maker against Leicester after he came on at half-time, and former Arsenal striker Ian Wright explained his surprise at the fact the 20-year-old didn’t start.

“I’m very surprised that Garnacho doesn’t start in that game,” Wright explained on ITV.

“You know, I think he’s done the same against Liverpool. He comes on and he can’t deal with him. He comes on with a lot of his pacey attacks. I thought that he should have squared one earlier on. I thought that they missed the opportunity.”

Although Garnacho was not involved in any goals, he was handed the Player of the Match award for his fantastic second-half heroics.

Although Keane went on to disagree with Wright, explaining that Garnacho is often better off the bench, he acknowledged that the Reds were much better once he was on the field.

“I think he does better when he comes off the bench,” the United legend started. “I’m not sure you can trust him when he starts games.

“When he comes off the bench and they’re obviously taking more gambles and a stretch, that’s when he comes into his own. But every single time he got the ball, he looked dangerous, didn’t he?

“And that’s what you want, because you say to a winger, don’t you, you’re not going to get past your man every time, but, you know, you keep doing it, you keep doing it, you’re going to get [rewarded].

“They obviously put Leicester on the back foot, and obviously they’re tired, the subs came on, and they lost a bit of physicality, and that’s what Garnacho does.

“You want to put defenders on the back foot, you want to test them. In the first half, they were coming in safe, in safe, but the backers put a test to them, and they got their reward.”
