Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson’s future this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.
The Red Devils are desperate to add to their squad for manager Ruben Amorim this summer after a terrible 2024/25 season where they finished 15th in the Premier League, while also losing the Europa League final.
So far INEOS have been able to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and their current focus is on sealing a deal for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, but a new striker is also desired and the Senegal international has emerged as a target.

Chelsea future in doubt
Jackson, who has been described as “unbelievable” by Peter Crouch, has been a regular at Chelsea under Enzo Maresca and was the starting number nine for the Blues last season.
However, his future has now come into question at Stamford Bridge after the west London outfit spent almost £100m on deals to sign Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer – with both players seemingly leapfrogging him in the pecking order during the Club World Cup tournament.
Now a host of clubs, including Manchester United, are keeping a close eye on his situation with the potential of making a move for his signature later in the window.
As things stand currently, however, Man Utd are still focused on a deal to sign Mbeumo, with David Ornstein reporting that there is still a sizeable gap in valuation between the clubs despite talks being ongoing for over a month.
The club are also keen to sell players who have no future at the club, with all of Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Marcus Rashford expected to be moved on before the window closes.
