Chelsea winger Noni Madueke is now in London finalising his move to Arsenal after agreeing personal terms with the north London club, according to Sky Sports

Earlier this week, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Arsenal had finalised a fee with Chelsea to sign Madueke, with the England international already agreeing personal terms on a five-year deal. Madueke looks set to make the move to the Emirates Stadium, joining Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga as senior additions for Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners appear to be in the market for further additions, with a host of links to other wingers and strikers. Madueke, who has been described as ‘explosive’ by The Athletic, will likely provide competition for Bukayo Saka on the right-hand side, but he’s also capable of playing off the left.

According to Sky Sports, reporting on X, Madueke is now in London to finalise his move to Arsenal after agreeing a five-year deal at the club. The Chelsea winger is set to undergo a medical with the north London club after the two clubs agreed a fee for the English star.

Whether Madueke becomes an instant starter at Arsenal remains to be seen, but it certainly won’t be easy for him to displace Saka in the starting XI. The former PSV man might have to settle for a rotational role, unless Arteta plans on deploying him on the left-hand side of attack.

Madueke has been utilised on the left at times during his Chelsea career, but there’s no doubt his best, and most comfortable, position is on the right.
