Deal Completed: Manchester United pulled out of Mbeumo’s transfer deal, agreed personal terms to sign a far better option who has scored 25-goals and made 21-assists last season

Manchester United have only completed one major signing to reinforce their squad this summer. On the other hand, Chelsea have already secured four key deals to improve their offense.
The two Premier League clubs may secure a deal this summer for the transfer of Christopher Nkunku, as per reports.
Back in the winter transfer window, the Red Devils were interested in signing the French international, but the Blues were asking for a mammoth fee worth £70million.
Now, the asking fee has been cut to half by the Stamford Bridge club and as per The Mirror, Man Utd have been told that they have to agree a deal worth £35m to hire the services of Nkunku.
The 27-year-old warmed the bench in the last campaign and only started nine games in the Premier League under the management of Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea have already signed the likes of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro to reinforce the strike-force this summer.
Moreover, the London side have also snapped up Estevao and Gittens to further strengthen the attacking department and therefore, Nkunku is not needed and will be allowed to leave for just £35m.
The Les Bleus star, who won the Golden Boot in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig, can effectively play on the left flank, in the No.10 role and also as an out and out striker if needed.
Therefore, Man Utd, who desperately need to improve the creativity of their offense, can benefit from the talent and versatility of Nkunku.
At the moment, the 14-capped international is in America for the Club World Cup and has made 4 appearances thus far in the competition. The Blues will now collide Brazilian side, Fluminense, in the semi final next week.
