Defending champion Coco Gauff out of US Open

New York : Defending champion Coco Gauff’s campaign to defend her title in the women’s singles of the US Open tennis tournament came to a halt in the fourth round. Third seed Gauff committed 19 double faults which ultimately cost her as she lost to Emma Navarro 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

Gauff’s performance in the last few competitions was not good.
