Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik Hidayat is as Happy as the 2024 Inter-Club Swimming Championship, Participated by 900 Young Athletes

The 900 athletes who took part in this championship came from 176 clubs spread across various regions in Indonesia.

“More than 900 swimmers from 176 clubs throughout Indonesia took part in this championship. This will be a proving ground for swimmers after the Paris Olympics and the 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra PON,” said PB AI Vice President, Harlin Rahardjo, who also accompanied Taufik at the opening.

Harlin added, this event is also the final selection for the formation of the National Team for the SEA Age Group in December 2024 in Thailand as well as the initial selection for the SEA Games team in December 2025

This championship is divided into five age group categories, namely under 11 years of age (Group 4), 12-13 years of age (Group 3), 14-15 years of age (Group 2), 16-18 years of age (Group 1) and the senior age category. 19 years and over.

The public can watch this inter-club swimming national championship for free every day in the morning session starting at 08.00 WIB and the afternoon session at 14.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the opening will take place Friday, November 22 2024 at 16.00 WIB.
