The decision to include the deceased Greek international in the bonuses and money received by the footballers was taken by the Executive Committee of the EPO. In fact, as it became known, the money allocated to George Baldock will be given to his family.
In detail, the announcement of the Federation:
“During today’s meeting of the Executive Committee of the EPO, the following decisions were taken, among others.
After a proposal by the Treasurer of the Executive Committee, Asterios Antoniou, it was unanimously decided to include George Baldock in bonuses for the players of the National Men’s National Team and the money that will be distributed to be given to his family.
Following the proposal of the Central Refereeing Committee, the fees of the refereeing officials in the following categories were revised for the better: Super League 1 and infrastructure SL 1 (from 1/1, following a relevant decision of the cooperative), 3rd National, Women’s Championships, Default National Teams.
The proposal for the Super League to cover half of the fees of the foreign executives of KED was withdrawn, following a relevant statement by Mr. Gagatsis.
The proposal of the Organizing Committee to add new dates to the Betsson Hellenic Cup calendar was approved, namely the period 1-3 April.
Mr. Achilleas Beos submitted his resignation from the position of Super League representative to the EPO Executive Committee, due to his increased duties as Mayor of Volos”.
