Arsenal Want to Sign Agoume

Midfielder impressed at U21 Euros

Agoume, who has been described as ‘extraordinary’, was a key member of Sevilla’s midfield in the 2024/25 season and carried that fine form into the Under-21 European Championships with France this summer, where he helped them reach the semi-finals.

His performances have seen him attract interest from some top clubs in Europe, and Arsenal are now eyeing a potential move to add him to their ranks this summer.

Sevilla are expecting offers for the 23-year-old central midfielder, and it’s believed that he could depart the La Liga club in the even they receive an acceptable bid, with the Gunners keen to replace Thomas Partey and Jorginho who both left after their contracts expired.

The former Inter Milan midfielder is best known for his combative attributes, and could provide the perfect foil for Zubimendi by offering depth and effective cover for star man Declan Rice.

The Gunners are keen to strengthen after a third consecutive runners-up finish in the Premier League this season, and alongside the signings they have already made they are also pushing for others.
