Finally Done: Arsenal as finally completed the deal to sign €100million winger who has more goals and assists than Cole Palmer last season

Arsenal’s summer transfer window is accelerating rapidly, with the club set to announce two more high-profile arrivals in the coming days.

After officially confirming the signing of Martin Zubimendi, on Sunday, the Gunners are now poised to finalise deals for Brentford midfielder Christian Nørgaard and Sporting striker Viktor Gyökeres.

30-year-old Nørgaard is believed to have already completed his move, with the experienced Dane arriving for a fee in the region of £10million. He is expected to provide reliable depth in midfield, particularly as a backup to Zubimendi whose arrival has sparked excitement among the Arsenal faithful. Nørgaard’s Premier League experience and tactical discipline make him a valuable addition to Mikel Arteta’s evolving squad.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are closing in on their marquee attacking signing of the summer. According to CNN Portugal, 27-year-old Viktor Gyökeres has already started packing his bags ahead of a switch to North London. The deal is understood to be worth €65million upfront with a further €15million in potential add-ons – making this one of the most expensive signings in the club’s history.

Gyökeres, who lit up the Primeira Liga with Sporting last season, is expected to provide a powerful and dynamic option up front. With his physicality, pressing intensity and goalscoring record, he offers something different from Arsenal’s current attacking options and is seen as a key piece in Arteta’s push for silverware next season.

The business may not stop there either. Reports indicate that 21-year-old Colombian defender Cristhian Mosquera, currently at Valencia, could also join Arsenal in the coming weeks. Talks are understood to be progressing positively, and a deal could be finalised quickly.

And Arsenal won’t look to stop there. Rumours persist for the likes of Eberechi Eze, Rodrygo and Noni Madueke – with the club expected to make at least one more significant attacking signing. Arsenal could also make a sale in that department, with Leandro Trossard now expected to leave.

With pre-season training nearly underway, Arsenal’s proactive transfer strategy suggests they are keen to give Arteta a fully-equipped squad as early as possible.
