FLIGHT BOOKED: Arsenal booked flight for £76million rated Italian striker ahead his medical tomorrow- Terms Agreed and released clause triggered

Arsenal have made enquiries to Manchester United about winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to journalist Gaston Edul.

The 2024/25 season saw Arsenal finish second in the Premier League for the third consecutive campaign. While the Gunners enjoyed a strong year, reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they were beaten by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain.

Mikel Arteta will, no doubt, be desperate to finally win more silverware with Arsenal next season and the North London side appear to be active in the transfer market. Much has been said about Arsenal’s pursuit of a striker, the club having been linked to both Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko, of Sporting and RB Leipzig respectively.

It would appear that, as Arsenal want to improve their options at striker, they also hope to bolster their wide options.

Arsenal Like Garnacho

Multiple clubs have made enquiries

Alejandro Garnacho will be allowed to leave Man United this summer, the winger having been told by manager Ruben Amorim that he does not fit into future plans. After missing out on European income, the sale of Garnacho would offer Man United pure profit, the Argentina international having spent time with the club’s youth academy.

Garnacho will almost certainly be playing for a new team in the new season and Gaston Edul has reported that Arsenal are one of the sides to have shown an interest in the winger. Aside from Leandro Trossard and the young Ethan Nwaneri, Arsenal have little cover for wingers Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

The Gunners struggled significantly when Saka, in particular, was sidelined through injury last December. In Garnacho, who teammate Rasmus Hojlund called “incredible,” Arsenal would be signing a player that has Premier League experience and somebody that can offer something different to their attack. Given Man United want to sell Garnacho, the Gunners may be able to negotiate a shrewd price for the winger.
