HERE WE GO: Arsenal agree £100million transfer fee to sign top-class winger, the player is currently undergoing medical to join the Gunners and will sign five-years deal today

Arsenal are poised to secure their fifth signing of the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have had a good summer, with four quality acquisitions thus far.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was initially signed from Chelsea after an impressive season-long loan at Bournemouth.

The London giants have since confirmed the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke.

A picture of Cristhian Mosquera’s leaked interview was spotted this week, but the club have yet to confirm his transfer.

HandofArsenal claimed yesterday that there are some concerns over the paperwork, which has halted the anticipated deal.

Journalist Matteo Moretto has now revealed that ‘all documents’ for the transfer of Mosquera from Valencia have been finalised.

The Spaniard only needs to put pen to paper on a long-term deal at Arsenal.

Mosquera is one of the best young centre-backs in Spain. He had a top campaign with Valencia despite them finishing mid-table in La Liga.

Mosquera can comfortably play in the right and left centre-back roles, and should be a handy deputy for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.

He has also made a handful number of appearances at right-back. The Valencia graduate appears a huge bargain signing due to his potential.

With a £13 million deal for Mosquera complete, Arsenal should now place their full focus on landing the signature of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.

The clubs have agreed on the fixed package of around £55m, but a deal has stalled over the add-ons worth £8.5m. Sporting want the bonuses to be easily achievable.

Arsenal prefer some part to be difficult to trigger. The Gunners need to speed up negotiations so that Gyokeres can join the squad during the pre-season tour of Asia.
