Indonesia to Host the 2024 MMA World Championship, Minister of Youth and Sports Gives Appreciation

Dito believes that this event is part of preparations so that Indonesia can dominate the MMA sport at various levels.

“Indonesia must be ready, because we are sure that in the future MMA will be dominant in multi-events, (such as) the SEA Games, Asian Games and even the Olympics because this industry cannot be stopped,” he said.

PB Pertacami General Chair Tommy Paulus Hermawan called the 2024 GAMMA World MMA Championship an important moment for Indonesia. The presence of this international level championship is seen as a way to promote Indonesia in the eyes of the world.

“Not only for the sport of MMA, but also to introduce Indonesia as a host capable of holding world-class events. “This is a golden opportunity for us to promote Indonesia’s cultural richness and excellence in international eyes,” he said.
