FINALLY ‼️: Arsenal confirmed first January transfer signing as star joined on Six-years deal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking for a new attacker in the January transfer window.

However, the Spaniard does not have long left now as he aims to strenngthen the attack of his team so that they can challenge for the Premier League title in the second half of the season.

They have struggled this season in front of goal due to a lack of a lethal presence in attack and the long term injury to Gabriel Jesus has not helped their cause.

The Arsenal manager is now keen on adding a striker to his team this month and one of the Premier League strikers is willing to join them to challenge for the league title.

According to Teamtalk, Wolves striker Matheus Cunha is ready to reject all the other Premier League clubs in order to join the Gunners.

He wants to compete for the highest honours and football and since the North London club have competed for the Premier League title for the last two seasons, the Brazilian attacker is ready to make a move to the Emirates Stadium to become a part of Arteta’s project.

With ten goals and four assists in the Premier League this season for a struggling Wolves side, Cunha has shown that he can be a prolific goal scorer while his link up play, his pressing and his dribbling quality has caught the attention of some of the biggest clubs in England.

Arsenal face competition to sign Matheus Cunha

Chelsea, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Tottenham are all interested in his services but he is ready to reject all them to make a move to Arsenal.

To sign the Wolves attacker, Arsenal would reportedly have to pay a fee close to £67 million.

Cunha is not the only name being linked with a move to the Gunners. RB Leipzig attacker Benjamin Sesko is another high profile name being mentioned in the media.

Despite the decent form of Kai Havertz recently, Arteta wants to make sure that he has depth in the attacking department.

Wolves are going to make sure they make it as difficult as possible for the Gunners to sign Cunha since he is going to be key for their chances of survival in the Premier League.
