HERE WE GO:Arsenal signed Madueke, Gyokeres currently undergoing medical, Kai Havertz told to leave and Thomas Partey signed new deal- Arsenal latest transfer news as the Gunners completes three more signings today

Arsenal will start their pre-season next week and both Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga will be joining their new teammates for the training sessions, according to Gunners journalist Charles Watts.

Both players have completed their medical and joined the North London club, with an official announcement confirming the moves expected any moment from now.

Real Sociedad had wished to include the transfer of Zubimendi to Arsenal in their 2025-26 accounts, and the Gunners have respected their wish by waiting until July before officially completing the deal.

The Spain international midfielder has had his £51.7 million release clause triggered by the North Londoners, while Kepa will be joining them for £5m as a back-up goalkeeper.

The duo are already in London and could be announced even today or before the end of the week as Arsenal begin preparations for the 2025-26 season.

The club will now look to complete a deal for one of their attacking targets pretty soon, with manager Mikel Arteta keen on signing a left winger and a new number 9.

They have spoken with the representatives of Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze, and both RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko and his Sporting CP counterpart Viktor Gyokeres remain on their radar.

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins remains under discussion should Arsenal fail in their pursuit of either of the aforementioned duo, and more names could emerge in the coming weeks given how sporting director Andrea Berta loves to keep tabs on plenty of options in one position at the same time before making a final decision.
