“I have decided to let him join Manchester United since he has openly admitted he’s their fan and can’t wait to join them”: Club’s manager confirmed he has finally decided to let £90m player join Man United

Manchester United will have to spend at least £55 million to sign Tyler Dibling from Southampton this month, as per reports.

United appear to be open to offloading both Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho before the close of the winter transfer window.

Rashford has reportedly agreed personal terms with Barcelona. Meanwhile, Napoli are understood to be pushing to sign Garnacho, who United have made available for around €65m (£55m).

The Red Devils’ attack is already very light and any major departure is likely to force them to explore the transfer market to reinforce Ruben Amorim’s side.

United have been linked with a move for Dibling, who is believed to be “keen” on moving to Old Trafford.

The Southampton prodigy, who has four goals and two assists to his name across all competitions this season, has attracted a number of top clubs in England with his mazy dribbling and pace.

Southampton are reluctant to part ways with their prized asset this month, as they find themselves 20th in the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports, the Saints will not entertain offers lower than £55m for the 18-year-old, who is considered an important part of their squad. His contract is up in 2027.

The Englishman has immense potential and is capable of playing on the flanks and through the center but the aforementioned figure is too high considering his limited experience in England’s top-flight.

Southampton are 10 points away from safety and appear destined to get relegated to the Championship.

Accordingly, a summer move could prove to be a lot more affordable and reasonable for United should they decide to knock on their doors for Dibling.

The Mancunians have also been recently linked with Barcelona’s Ansu Fati, who is viewed as a short-term option to add some life to United’s attacking play.
