Arsenal are Advancing With Sesko Over Gyokeres
The Sweden international’s future is open again.
Contacts remain active for Gyokeres as he’s still a big name on Arsenal’s list and nothing is done yet for Sesko, so Arsenal carefully maintain all their options available as long as possible, but at the same time the Sesko deal is at a more advanced stage so far and so Gyokeres’ future is open again.
The pact between his agents and Sporting remains clear: sources guarantee the “monster” Swedish striker can leave this summer for a transfer fee of around €65/70m, with the final number based also on the structure of the add-ons, payment terms and more crucial details.
But for sure, it is an interesting price for several clubs. This is why also Italian clubs have called for Gyokeres in the recent weeks, trying to understand if there’s space for a proposal in order to try advance on this topic.
Man United Hold More Talks Over Gyokeres ‘This Week’

Meanwhile, Manchester United should not be considered out of the race – at least, at this stage of the summer window. Sources reveal that Manchester United had more contacts with all parties involved in Gyokeres deal this week, to understand how the situation was developing for the Swedish striker.
It means Manchester United remain in the race and are currently informed on every step of the story, as they’re also aware of Italian clubs exploring the situation for Gyokeres.
Sources believe Champions League football was probably going to facilitate the deal for Manchester United, but the final in Bilbao killed that possibility and so financially for Man United it’s way more complicated to proceed with this move.
But until Gyokeres move gets advanced with another club, Man United keep being informed and are in contact with his camp – as they’ve been again this week.
The financial factor will be crucial to understand whether they’ll be able to afford Gyokeres or not; Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho exits are absolutely crucial and more could also follow in different positions.
