“If they like let them sign all the strikers but that’s the particular one I need and they refused to sign him, I’ll resign”: Manchester United’s coach Ruben Amorim has openly named the only signing he really want thissummer, threatened to resign if they fail to land the superstar

Manchester United are favorites to hire the services of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford but they still have to reach an agreement over a fee with the Bees.

Not so long ago, it was reported that the Red Devils have agreed an initial fee to lure the Cameroonian international.

However, as per the latest updates, a complete agreement over the price has not been reached as yet. As per today’s version of The Mirror, Brentford have turned down an offer worth £62.5million from the Old Trafford outfit.

Manchester United paid £62.5million to lure Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but as it stands, that figure is not going to be enough to sign Mbeumo.

Moreover, personal terms have been agreed and the African is set to sign a contract that will make him earn £180,000 a week, £46.8million in the next five years.

Are Manchester United about to pay over the odds for Mbeumo?

The 25-year-old winger joined the London club for only £5.8million and the Bees are now taking advantage of Ruben Amorim’s desperation to improve the offense by asking for a mammoth fee.
