While both are running on contracts valid until 2027, the management is apparently struggling to put their signatures on long-term deals, as they haven’t been able to agree on the wage package.
Chelsea have reportedly emerged as the favourites to land Mainoo, while Atletico Madrid have rekindled their interest in Garnacho.
But despite the two youngsters’ delicate situations, the Daily Mail reveals that Man Utd still have two ‘untouchable’ players within their ranks.

The second untouchable is summer signing Leny Yoro. The young French defender’s first few months at Carrington were hampered by a foot injury, but he has recently made his return to the slowly to the pitch, and is slowly but surely carving himself an important role at the back.
