Sports Desk: During the third ODI match between Australia and Pakistan, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram shared a funny story while sitting with former Australian cricketers in the commentary box. Akram told how he had spent $1000 for the grooming of his pet cat Leo in Australia. Akram called the 15-minute grooming session “daylight robbery”. He joked that with the amount he paid for Leo’s haircut in Australia, he could have bought 200 cats in Pakistan. After this revelation of Akram, everyone laughed a lot in the commentary box.

When the conversation progressed, Akram’s fellow commentator showed in his mobile the receipt of the bills which he had received for the grooming of the cat. Akram said that the huge bill included 105 Australian dollars for medical check-up, 305 for anesthesia and 40 Australian dollars for haircut. Similarly, additional charges such as 120 Australian dollars for post-procedure care and 251 Australian dollars for cardio testing were charged.

Let us tell you that while on one hand this story narrated by Akram remained trending on social media, on the other hand Pakistan also won the ODI series in Australia after 22 years. The Australian team entered this series without Pat Cummins, Steven Smith, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Marnus Labuschagne. Pakistan cricket team took full advantage of this. PCB had made Mohammad Rizwan the captain for this series. Rizwan used bat and brain very well and led Pakistan to victory in Australia.
