– It will be nice. Egersund has delivered a better season than us, so they are your favourites. But we travel there and try to match them.
– Egersund has many similarities with Bodø/Glimt, says match winner Oscar Kapskarmo to TV 2. He is in KIL on loan from Glimt.
It was a poor match at Ekeberg when Lyn took on Kongsvinger for the first qualifying match against the Eliteserien.
Vertene took the first shot shortly before the break. Kongsvinger would play out from behind. Isufu was up and tackled – the ball ended up with an unpressurized Thorkelsson in the Kongsvinger defense who inexplicably sent the ball into his own net behind a slightly bewildered Klemensson in the KIL goal.
The absurd own goal seemed to be decisive, but the visitors from the deep forests wanted a say in the team.
After a corner, there was complete chaos in the Lyn defense. Substitute Daniel Lysgård kept his composure – took the ball down into Lyn’s five meters, turned away two men and equalized from close range five minutes before full time.
The goal secured extra time at Ekeberg.
Der Kongsvinger delivered a strange own goal in the first half, things were going wrong in the first extra half as well.
A post from the right harbor with KIL’s Ludvig Langrekken. The right-back probably should have been clearer, but ended up finishing the post with a nice finish into his own crossbar.
Just afterwards, Langrekken played the ball in to Jesper Grundt in the Lyn field. Grundt played further to Oscar Kapskarmo. The on-loan Glimt striker was safe when he sent Kongsvinger up 2–1 – and thus secured victory and advancement for KIL.
Ten minutes before full time, Harald Holter received his marching orders after receiving his second yellow card. This means that he is not allowed to play the next qualifying match. The road to the Eliteserien is long and winding. The next step is Egersund next Saturday anyway.

It is the third time this year that a battle between Kongsvinger and Lyn ends 1-1 in regular time.
