[4-2-3-1]: Ruud van Nistelrooy called back, Onana out and all players returns to their normal position- Manchester United’s predicted lineup against Everton as Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to be called back this week

Manchester United are back on the road next week when they face Everton.

It will be Manchester United’s final trip to Goodison Park since the historical stadium will be vacated after this season. That means the stadium will be put to rest after 133 years, with Everton set to move into their new home soon.

The two teams have another Premier League fixture to play before they go head-to-head next weekend.

Everton travel to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening and David Moyes is having to deal with several injuries.

The Toffees will also be without key midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure against Palace after he was dismissed after the final whistle of their 2-2 draw with Liverpool in midweek.

However, Doucoure should return in time for United’s visit next Saturday.

It bodes well that United beat Everton 4-0 earlier this season, thanks to braces from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee.

David Moyes confirms injury blow for Manchester United clash
Next week’s game will see Moyes take on his former club, Manchester United, and he must make do with the players he has available.

Moyes has confirmed a medial knee ligament injury for Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, with the former Marseille star also set to miss the match against United.

It comes as a major blow for Everton because Ndiaye has been a key player for the Toffees this term, scoring eight goals across all competitions, including 6 in the Premier League.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Moyes said: “Ili has got a medial ligament injury. It’s not looking great at the moment.

“We’re probably not sure about how long it’s going to be and we’ll maybe get a bit more on that [soon] but it’s certainly going to be a few weeks, anyway.”

Everton are witnessing an improvement in results since Moyes took over from Sean Dyche, but this news will come as a boost for Ruben Amorim and his Reds.

Ndiaye has been one of Everton’s best players this season and they’re going to miss him while he is ruled out of action.
