Our National Futsal team drew 1-1 with Austria in a friendly match that took place at “Tassos Papadopoulos – Eleftheria”.
It was an uneventful and spectacular match between the two teams and certainly, the sign is positive for our team which had many new players in its composition who competed for the first time with the national flag.
Alexandros Georgiou scored our national team’s goal in the second half, equaling the goal scored by the Austrians in the first half.
Cyprus and Austria will compete in a second friendly on Sunday at 11:00 am.
