Real Madrid created controversy

The Real Madrid drama began shortly before the awards show. Real Madrid said that if Junior Vinicius did not get this award then it should go to his own club’s Dani Carval. Dani scored a goal in the match against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final played at Wembley Stadium. “If Vinicius is not the winner according to the criteria of the award, then Dani should be the winner,” the club told AFP news agency.
