Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Philadelphia 76ers small forward Paul George suffered a left knee injury when facing the Memphis Grizzles in the 2024/2025 NBA continuation, Thursday (21/11/2024) WIB. According to ESPN, the player from the United States will undergo an examination process to determine the seriousness of the injury.
76ers coach Nick Nurse said George’s problem was similar to a previous injury suffered in the preseason.
“I think they (the medical team) said this is similar to before, where this injury is related to bone bruising,” he said.
Nurse assesses that George has had time to find his performance again. However, his knee still hasn’t fully recovered.
“He was actually getting closer to returning to playing at his best, but (his knee) was a little stiff when he tried to play, so I decided we should check his condition,” said Nurse.
