HERE WE GO: Arsenal finally completes striker’s signing as the star is becomes the most expensive Gunner’s player ever- Medical has been done this morning as the deal is very close to be announced

Arsenal are interested in signing Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho this summer, according to TyC Sports journalist Gaston Edul.

The Argentina international wants to leave the Old Trafford club after Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim told him to find another club, and the Gunners have made enquiries.

Garnacho wants to remain in the Premier League if (or when) he leaves Man United, and while Arsenal are keen on recruiting his services, they will face competition from Chelsea for him.

The ‘very good’ 20-year-old ended 2024-25 with 11 goals and ten assists in 58 appearances and is widely considered one of the best youngsters in the land.

Arsenal want another left winger, and the Man United star fits the bill, with his skillset something Gunners manager Mikel Arteta could do with in an attacker.

Garnacho won the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award, Premier League Goal of the Season award and the BBC Goal of the Season award for his acrobatic effort against Everton in November 2023, and he is capable of reproducing such similar moments regularly.

Arsenal need brilliant forwards if they want to win the Premier League anytime soon, and the South American could be a huge addition to their attack given his huge potential and talents.

He has what it takes to become one of the best wingers on the planet, and signing him could end up being a steal if Arteta can manage to get the best out of him.

Garnacho will be eager to play regularly in the Champions League and challenge for the Premier League title every season, and a move to the North London club will give him the chances to win major silverware.
