“Ruben is not serious, how could you have such player in your academy and preferred to play Hojlund as your striker? I watched that kid’s performance last week and OMG he’s so good…He scored five goals in that particular game with powerful shots”: Man United’s legend Rio Ferdinand impressed by academy striker, urged Arteta to start playing him

Manchester United have had some phenomenal forwards over the years, but as of late it’s become a serious problem child at Old Trafford.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have not been firing under Ruben Amorim, meaning United have had to seek goals in other avenues, and mainly to no avail.
A problem with goalscorers hasn’t always been the case. The Red Devils have always had superstars up top, such as the likes of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo to name a few in the modern-day Premier League era.
But, one that Manchester United arguably got too late, was also one of the best to ever lead the line at Old Trafford. Ivan Toney produced a bold statement to agree.
Ivan Toney says Zlatan Ibrahimovic is better than Thierry Henry
Toney didn’t even hesitate when asked who was a better player – Thierry Henry or Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The English forward went with the Swede.
A bold call, with the Frenchman dubbed by many as the Premier League’s greatest-ever player.
In a quick-fire ‘winner stays on’ interview with MailSport, Toney answered who he thought was better as follows on current and former footballing stars (bolded names are the winners).
Lionel Messi trumps Cristiano Ronaldo for Toney
The interview continued, and Zlatan didn’t quite prevail. He was knocked out by another Manchester United legend – Ronaldo.
However, the Saudi Pro League star believes Lionel Messi trumps all. The interview continued:
Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Robert Lewandowski?
Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Cristiano Ronaldo?
Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?
Toney was linked to Manchester United in the past and clearly rates a lot of former Red Devils stars, but it’s the Argentine, as for many, that can be identified as the greatest of all time.
